Faded Murray and Blue
T his quilt uses the same technique as Serendipity, but I have tried to create movement with the wavy lines.

Beth Chatto's Bamboo I
I love Beth Chatto's garden in Essex and particularly the rustling of the tall bamboo. Made with my own hand dyed fabrics - just to prove I still do piecing!

This one represents bamboo in a different form using my stitch and burn technique using a soldering iron. This quilt was bought by a private collector.

Walls of The Lady Chapel I
Both quilts in this series were made for an exhibition by Anglia Textile Works for Ely Cathedral. The Lady Chapel where the exhibition was hung has some original wall paintings in these muted colours and I tried to represent peeling paint and old masonry.

Out of The Dustbin I
This was the first quilt I made in the Out of The Dustbin series:

Two old quilts painted [literally got out of the dustbin!] with emulsion paint, cut up, rearranged, sewn back together and painted with acrylic paint.

It was then accepted for the last Contemporary Quilt 2006 exhibition at Uffington and travelled to two other venues!

Sadly I only have this detail of the quilt. Photo by Annette Morgan

Out of The Dustbin - Pink Squares
This quilt was made using the same technique as Faded Murray and Blue, but rather than use dyed fabric I used a bought patterned fabric.
