Serendipity
A play with squares and circles. Machine pieced, top layer direct dyed, burnt to reveal bottom layer, cut and re-joined.

Open Skies
Based on the landscape and open skies of East Anglia, where I live.

Machine appliqué, cut and rearranged, and machine quilted.

Snettisham Torcs
Background fabrics represent the soil and its furrows, where the torcs were found.

Machine pieced, top layer burnt through to reveal bottom layer, cut and rejoined.

The Water Newton Hoard
This piece is based on a silver Christian bowl dating back to the 4th century and found in a hoard near Cambridge.

Machine pieced, top layer burnt through to reveal bottom layer, cut and rejoined.
